The Hideaway Design Review Committee met to review the final plans received for Lot
283. The plans were approved for you to go forward and begin construction subject to
the following outstanding items being addressed prior to the set back inspection:
1. The front walls not screening the auto court may only be a maximum of 3 feet
in height.
2. Please submit samples of driveway materials for approval as this was not
specified on the plans or submitted.
3. Please submit samples of the paths, courtyards, outdoor stairs and terrace
paving materials for approval.
4. The cap detail for the walls was not added to front walls as requested. Please
provide detail on proposed caps on front walls.
5. The front walls must be pulled back and located out of the Public Utility
Easement (P.U.E.) area.
6. The tree selection is too similar to Lot 282 in the front and rear. Please
provide some diversity by selecting alternatives from the approved list.
7. This comment is a courtesy and not meant as a requirement. The melaleuca's
shown in the side yard may cause a long term problem with pool lines.
Consider a tree with a less invasive root system.
Any deviation from the Design Guidelines must be submitted with a request for Variance.
If a design element is not presented as a Variance request and the committee
inadvertently overlooks it during the review process it will be the design team's
responsibility to make modifications at a later date if requested by the Design Review
