The contractor has built the tower framing as. shown in this sketch. . 3.-The.shear wallat the east (back) of the garage (line H) has been modified from 23 feet to 17 feet. This change was for a larger golf cart access, The header over the opening will be approximately 8 feet. The 6x10 header, is adequate. The attached calculation shows that the shear wall nailing and anchor bolts will remain as specified on the approved plans. 4. The shear wall at the north side of the mechanical room in the garage has been eliminated. This will result in more loads going to lines 8 L and 10 (north and south) of the garage. The shear nailing, anchor bolts and holdowns for these walls will not be changed from " the approved drawings. See the attached calculations for verification. 5. This office is satisfied with the inspection performed by the engineer mentioned above. The framing.is considered complete and in compliance with our design.
