• Embedded steel reinforcing for masonry wails and all poured concrete
elements are drawn to the best of Landscape Architect's knowledge based
upon findings from similar projects in the same geographic area.
Contractors using different or less steel do so at their own risk.
• Water Features Contractor to engineer all gunite shells and embedded
steel. Provide shop drawings to Architect and Owner for review and
approval.
• With the exception of underwater lighting, all site electrical items to be
placed 5'-0" minimum away from the edge of all water features.
• Caps for all skimmers and return lines to be located in planting areas.
Verify location with Landscape Architect. Paint to match adjacent planting.
• Water Feature Contractor to provide Landscape Architect and Owner with
equipment and materials lists for all site water elements. Any omissions
does not relieve Contractor from his responsibility of providing a complete
and operable system.
LIGHTING NOTES
• Control Panels: Lighting Contractor to review site electrical plans and
determine best manner to connect landscape circuits. Photo cells required
on all circuits.
• Circuitry: Lighting Contractor must review plans and recommend circuitry
I for load capacity. Submit shop drawings showing circuitry, wire sizing,
capacities, etc. to Landscape Architect and Owner for review and approval.
• Trenching: Lighting Contractor to coordinate work with Irrigation Contractor
so that materials can be laid in common trenches wherever possible. ,
• Junction Boxes: Uplights in planting areas must have junction boxes below
grade, light fixtures must be screened with landscaping, etc.
• Transformers: Mount on buildings wherever possible. Locate in valve
boxes as a second choice. Verify number needed and locations With

• Mounting Stakes, Brackets, Etc.: No aluminum products or equipment will
be allowed below grade. Risers. and nipples above grade to be of a
groundcover type and length determined in the field by Landscape
Architect.
