Architectural and Landscape Remodel — Garage Area (2nd review of changes)
To the Chandler Family and Orrick Family:
The Hideaway Design Review Committee (DRC) received, for review at the May 6, 2014 meeting, a
second submittal detailing changes to the previously approved design. The modif cations were approved
subject to a full set of final working drawings being submitted which address the remaining comments as
follows:
1. A color board with actual samples is still outstanding and is required for review and approval of
all projects. In addition, all colors and materials, including the hardscape materials, are subject to
field review and approval prior to installation.
2. The committee is concerned with regard to the proposed driveway materials and the potential for
the hardscape materials and colors to be too contrasting. Please provide stone/pebble samples for
a more thorough review of the driveway and pathway.
3. Courtesy comment: Nandina is shown at 1 foot on center but the plant is ypically maintained at
4' x 18' — please show the symbols at their mature plant sizes.
4. The designer's response letter indicated that the Torch Glow Bougainvillea was removed;
however, it was still detailed on the plan. An alternative Bougainvillea would work in the area
proposed.
