It has come to my attention that Mr. Wally Miles.and Mr. Richard Crockett are engaged in the
business of constructing single family dwellings for sale contrary to the Contractors License Law
7044. Today 8/30/2000, Mr. Miles disclosed to me that he is an employee of Mr. Richard -
Crockett. Mr..Miles is acting as both an employee and agent for Mr. Crocketl coordinating plan
review, pulling permits and constructing single family dwellings for sale. The following list of

To Whom It May Concern:
This letter is a follow-up summary for the attached consumer complaint fo:-m. Mr. Wally
Miles, employee, and Mr. Richard Crockett, owner, are engaged in the business of constricting
single family dwellings for sale contrary %to the Contractors License Law 7044. The investigation
memo to the Building Department Manager, the permit application and letter do Mr. Crockett are
attached for your review.
Mr. Wally Miles picked up a copy of the August letter to Mr.: Crockett a week after I had
called: The original letter was mailed and returned"returned to sender, attemp.ed,unknown". The
letter was mailed to the address provided on the original permit application. Mr. Crockett hada
conversation with me at the counter shortly after Mr. Miles picked up the Aug-.ist letter. Mr.
Crockett disclosed to me his intentions were not to exceed the maximum allowed single family
dwelling home construction but the original homes he constructed sold and th.-n he committed
himself to the additional single family dwellings noted in the August letter. Mr. Crockett
returned after our conversation with Ms. Kristy A. Brady, his girlfriend. They resubmitted a
new application. Ms. Kristy A. Brady applied for permit as owner/builder. I have reviewed the '
plans submitted and plans and permit, are pending owner information to reflect application
submitted.
