RE: Expired building permit for incomplete garage and storage area
Dear Mr. Lawson:
It has been noted and documented that permit #003619 issued on February 9, 1988
with an extension to June 30, 1990 has expired and your garage/storage area
project is still incomplete.
It is required and mandatory that this structure either be completed or
demolished. To allow the structure to remain in its 'present, condition is a
violation of Municipal and State code requirements, subsequently, you are hereby
ordered to do the following:
1. Contact the Building and Safety Department within ten (10) calendar days
of.receipt of this letter for the purpose of obtaining a new'permit to
complete the project within a time frame of,six (6) months of the permit
issuance date or;
2. Contact the Building and Safety Department within ten (10) days of receipt
of this 'letter for the purpose of, securing a demolition permit with the
requirements to be mandated at the time of permit issuance.
Failure to comply with the requirements of this letter, within the times
specified, may cause legal remedy to be pursued to gain full corrective action.
