Office time is billed in 1/4-hour increments. 2. Field time on non -prevailing wage projects during normal working hours is billed in 2-hour increments portal to portal from the assigning office. Field work performed on weekends, holidays, and when work starts outside of regular business hours (7 AM to 5 PM) is billed in 4-hour increments. Over -time in 1-hour increments. 3. Field services for prevailing wage projects will be charged in 4-hour increments portal to portal from the assigning office. Over -time will be billed in 1-hour increments. 4. Materials testing and special inspection services are billed in 4-hour increments. Over -time in 1-hour increments. 5. A two-hour cancellation charge will apply if scheduled inspection or testing is cancelled after 3 p.m. the day prior to the scheduled work. Requirements concerning overtime, shift work, travel time, holidays, and other factors can vary for different classifications of work under prevailing wage regulations. 6. Personnel charges for Saturdays and premium hours (after 5 PM and before 7 AM, or exceeding 8 hours on -site in one day) will be billed at 150% of normal rates; Sundays and holidays are billed at 200% of normal rates. 7. Payment is due upon invoice presentation and past due 30 days from the invoice date. Past due accounts are subject to service charges of 1.5 percent per month. 8. Fixed fees, unit rates, special billing rates, and billing options can be negotiated upon request. 9. Deposition, Hearing and Court Appearances (as Expert Witness) are billed at double the normal rates, and in four-hour increments. Stand-by for court appearances that do not require personnel to leave the office will be billed at $600 per day.
