Dear Mr. and Mrs. Markley:
The Tradition Architectural Design Review Committee met to discuss your
revised design for the remodel of your pool and rear yard layout as well as the
rear elevation changes for your home on Deacon Drive West. The proposal is
approved subject to the comments listed below being addressed during
construction.
1. The wall height at the rear exceeds the guideline allowances for walls
facing the golf course however, given the location of the pool and the
distance to the cart path the committee is recommending approval of the
request. Plant material directly adjacent to the pool wall will need to be
replaced at a mature height if disrupted during the demolition and
S
construction phases.
2. All materials for the bck of the pool wall, other than the stucco portions,
must be submitted for approval prior to installation in the field.
3. The request to enlarge the existing chimney to accommodate the rear
yard improvements is approved.
4. The request to instal the sliding pocket doors is approved as it is
assumed all framing and structural details will be designed by the
appropriate professionals.
