8) Install an alarm monitoring system for fire sprinkler system(s) with 100 or more heads (20 or more in Group I,
Division 1.1 and 12 occupancies). Valve monitoring, water -flow alarm and trouble signals shall be
automatically transmitted to an approved central station, remote station or proprietary monitoring station in
accordance with 2001 CBC, Sec. 904.3.1. An approved audible sprinkler flow alarm shall be provided on the
exterior in an approved location and also in the interior in a normally occupied location. A C-10 licensed
contractor must submit plans, designed in accordance with NFPA 72, 1999 Edition, to the Fire Department for
review and approval prior to installation.
9) Install Knoz Key Lock box, Model 3200, mounted per recommended standard of the Knox Company. If the
buildingtfacility is protected with a fire alarm system or burglar alarm system, the lock boxes will require
"tamper" monitoring. Special forms are available from this office for the ordering of the Key Switch. This form
must be authorized and signed by this office for the correctly coded system to be purchased.
10) All egress doors shall comply with CBC Sec. 1003.3.1.8 for proper door hardware.
11) Install portable fire extinguishers per Title 19, but not less than 2A10BC in rating. Contact a certified
extinguisher company for proper placement and spacing of equipment.
12) Approved building address shall be placed in such a position as to be plainly visible and legible from the street
and rear access if applicable. Building address numbers shall be a minimum of 12° for building(s) up to 25' in
height, and 24" in height for building(s) exceeding 25' in height. All addressing must be legible and of a
contrasting color with the background.
13) Electrical room door shall be posted "ELECTRICAL ROOM" on the outside of door.

A. No submittals are required if material specified is used.
1.3 STARTING OF THE WORK:
A. Do not proceed with the work until conditions are suitable. Starting of the work on any surface
shall constitute unqualified acceptance of that surface as being satisfa7ctory to receive the
work. Wall -surfaces to be covered should be dry, sound, true, level and clean. Cut panels to
size leaving adequate space for expansion.,
PART 2 — PRODUCTS
2.1 WALL PANELS:
A. Wall panels shall be TUFWALL OSB.PANELS with TUFLINER fiberglass reinforced plastic
panel finish with smooth surface or approved equal. See finish schedule for locations.
Provide installation accessories as required for complete sanitary installation.
2.2 ADHESIVES:
A. Adhesives shall be as recommended and approved by the manufacturer, mildew and vennin
resistant, and non staining. - I
PART 3 - EXECUTION
3.1 GENERAL:
A. Verify that the wall panels can be installed in accordance with the original design and
manufacturers req uirements for installation.
3.2 INSTALLATION:
A. Application - apply wall panels in strict accordance with manufacturers printed instructions.
Horizontal seams will not be accepted. Make vertical seams at least 4 inches from inside and
outside comers. Seams shall be straight and true vertically.
