Building Official,
I am submitting the attached revisions to the plans for a patio cover at my
house located at 51-125 Avenida Herrera. After setting the U -straps for the
posts, and really taking a close .look at how this was going together, I
thought that these adjustments were warranted.
I have a continuous 2x10 ledger on the north side, of the house. From this
ledger 2 4x10 joists are attached, 8' apart. A second ledger is to be placed
just outside of the roof overhang so that I can minimize cutting into the
existing roof.
2x4's are then bolted to the ledger and joists. The 2x6 .Lath rests on the
2x4's and are nailed to solid blocking.
