This family of energy efficient outdoor units have SEER's of up to 9.5 with a cooling capacity range of 18,300 to 57,000 Btuh and COP ratings of up to 3.0 with heating capacities of 19,500 to 62,000 Btuh. A variety of matching up-flo, down-flo and horizontal blower powered indoor units, with optional supplemental electric heat, provide selective sizing and installation versatility. For complete data on indoor units see individual bulletins indexed in this tab section. Several refrigerant line sets are available in various lengths, see line kit table for selection. Line sets are optional and must be ordered extra. The HP16 cabinet is heavy gauge galvanized steel with a durable baked -on AIML enamel paint finish. Special paint process protects cabinet against all kinds of weather. Design of cabinet with louvered inlet air panels and horizontal air discharge protects fan, fan motor, compressor and other internal com- ponents from the weather. Heavy duty base support channels elevate unit above mounting surface. Dual outdoor coils provide extra large surface area for highest heat transfer. Coils are protected by rugged steel guards. lowAutomatic defrost control system operates only when conditions require it. Compressor crankcase heater and heating -cooling thermostat with emer- gency heat subbase and warning lights are furnished as standard. Outdoor units are test operated at the factory to insure proper operation and are shipped ready for installation. Installer has only to locate unit and make refrigerant line and electrical connections to complete installation: NOTE — Specifications, Ratings and Di!r.,i.. os subject to change without notice. LEIGHTON and ASSOCIATES INCORPORATED O Lu GEOTECHNICAL and ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEERING CONSULTANTS February 22, 1988 Project No. 5870152-03 TO: Mr. Dick Glover PO Box 1702 Palm Desert, California 92260 SUBJECT: ,Report of C_o.m _acti_o.n:Test Results, Single Fami 1 Residence, 54-905 p P y 9 Y Awen-ida Herrera, La Quinta, Calif ornia At your request, we have performed four compaction tests on.the near surface soils at the subject site. The test results and approximate testlocations are detailed in the attached sheets (Plates 1 and 2). The maximum density and optimum moisture were determined as, per ASTM Test Method D1557-78. The field density tests were performed with a nuclear densometer in accordance with ASTM Test Method D2922-78: The scope of our work was to perform compaction tests only and not to provide soil or foundation engineering recommendations. Our services were performed after the building pad was completed. The scope of our work did not include observing the grading operation during placement of fills to check for uniformity of materials used, construction methods, etc. Therefore, we cannot make any statement about conditions below or -beyond our test locations. Should you have any questions regarding this report, please contact us. Respectfully submitted, LEIGHTON AND ASSOCIATES, INC. Paul R. oersting Supervi o Techni is PH/BJI/mu Brent J.
