The Coachella Valley Water District will provide domestic water and sanitation service to
the area described as Assessor's Parcel No. 600-020-030 located in section 29, township 5
south, range 7 east, San Bernardino Base and Meridian.
Domestic water service and sanitation service will be subject to the satisfaction of terms and
conditions established by the District and exercised from time to time, including but not
limited to fees and charges, water conservation measures, etc.
The District may need additional facilities to provide for the orderly expansion of its
domestic water and sanitation systems. These facilities may include pipelines, wells,
reservoirs, booster pumping stations, lift stations and other facilities. The developer may be
required to install these facilities and provide land and/or easements on which some of these
facilities will be located. These sites shall be shown on the tract map as lots and/or
easements to be deeded to the District for such purpose.
The area must be annexed to Improvement District No. 55 to obtain sanitation service.
This notice of domestic water and sanitation service availability can only be used and relied
upon for the specific property for which it was issued and shall expire three (3) years from
the date of issuance.

Dear Ms Song,
On November 18, 2009 we received a proposed project from you regarding a water feature
system that will be using fresh domestic water from CVWD and then draining directly into a
storm water system.
At this time California Health and Safety Codes does not have standards for a water feature
which addresses this type of design or construction. As your proposed project does not come
under any definition of a public swimming pool per California Health and Safety Code,
California Code of Regulations, Title 22, Chapter 20, Public Swimming Pools, Section 65503,
we have no jurisdiction in this matter other than to obtain the information mentioned below.
On November 12, 2009 a letter was received from the City of La Quinta public works division
indicating they have reviewed and approved the storm water drainage system for the Wolff
Water Place project. Because the water is draining into four drywells you need to contact our
Land Use Division. To obtain a permit for the dry wells please contact Donna Villalta at 760-
393-3390.

Water Play Area - Drainage Acceptance

The City of La Quinta has reviewed and approved the storm water
drainage system for the Wolff Waters Place project located at the
northwest corner of Avenue 48 and Dune Palms Road (City Plan Set Nos.
08093 and 09017). A water play area is planned within the project
consisting of four 5 -gallon per minute sprinkler heads. The runoff from
this water play area will be collected and conveyed, in the storm drain
system, to one of four drywells located at the downstream end of the
project. The drywells are intended to infiltrate nuisance water from the
site (as required by CV1111D). The anticipated irifiitration rate of one
drywell is roughly 100 gallons per minute. During large storm events the
drywells will overflow and runoff will be conveyed to the La Quinta
Evacuation Channel. Please let us know if we can be of any assistance.
