The plans are now approved subject to the conditions listed ,below and the attached compliance sheet
1) Providea minimum 50 gallon water heater meeting one of the following requirements: 70,000 BTUs; 15 total,
connected kW:'11 gal/min based on a 60 degree rise. See redline correction Sheet FS -2.
2) Provide approved waterproof material (stainless steel, FRP, or ceramic tile) a minimum of 8' high on the walls at all
sinks (only 4' at handwash sinks).
3) Provide a minimum 4' wainscot of approved waterproof material (stainless steel, FRP, or ceramic tile) in the
restroom. 'CGV' is not an approved waterproof material. Do not use it for your wainscot. See redline correction on
Sheet FS -1.
4) Ensure all paint used in. all areas requiring approved finishes is light-colored (i.e.. a minimum LVR of 70%). Darker
paint will not be approved and will have to be removed. See redline correction on Sheet FS -1.
5) Provide an approved stainless steel splashguard (minimum 17 high) between the handwash sink and the sandwich
prep unit. See redline correction on Sheet FS -1.
6) Ensure the water heater curb is properly coved.
CONSTRUCTION INSPECTIONS: Contact the Plan Checker for a Preliminary Inspection when construction is
approximately 80% complete, with plumbing, rough ventilation, and rough equipment installed. Request for
inspection should be made at least five (5) working days in advance.
A FINAL INSPECTION MUST be made upon completion of ALL work including finished details. APPROVAL to
operate shall not be, granted, or remodeled areas approved to operate, until the facility, has passed the FINAL
INSPECTION, and "APPLICATION TO OPERATE" has been completed and.PERMIT FEES have been paid.
