Dear Mr. Butler,
I am writing to request an extension to our Building Permit, issued to us on February 22,
2002.
My dad past away shortly before the issuance of the permit. He was a building contractor
in Alaska for 50 years, and left my mother with many unfinished projects, and
accumulated equipment and property. M
My mother is 77 years old and was quite overwhelmed by the subsequent disposition of
the estate, and in order to meet deadlines and commitments she needed my help. In order
to ensure her security, it was necessary for me to travel to Alaska in April, and manage
for her.
The estate is in order for the time being, and she has purchased a new home nearer the
City of Anchorage, and is set for the winter.
We had begun our little re -model project here but needed to leave abruptly, hence the
permit has expired.
We returned November 1 st and are ready to resume work... the_place_NEEDS the
I
mprovement.... We are living in the midst of the half finished job and are motivated to
expedite its completion.
We appreciate your timely response and any action you can take to further our endeavors
'along. Please advise as soon as possible regarding our options.

E. Certification of Required Parking. Numerical parking space requirements shall be determined and/or
amended through approval of a parking plot plan pursuant to Section 9.150.020. The numerical requirements
