(Rob Pitchford: 760-346-2856; Bob Edwards: 760-777-8202)
Per telephone conversation yesterday with Rob Pitchford, Draftsman:
• Rob indicates that this application is identical to, but a mirror image of the one
approved. 2/17/05 by Jim Johnson' at 54-783 Southern Hills (05-0191). On that
information, I have decided NOT to send the structural content to our
consultant. We should be able to do a comparative review here in the office.
• 1 told Rob that his floor plan needs to include the entire Den being modified,
so that we don't have to take his word for it regarding the actual area of the
existing room.
• Rob intends to come in to replace the first sheet of plans in each set, and also
sign the sheets, in hopes of first-round approval.
• Rob also intends to have Kripa, the engineer of record, come in to stamp and
sign the pages with structural content. Remember that this includes sheets 2
and 3 of this set. Structural calcs are already stamped and signed.
• A prominent note indicating that the revised den is NOT approved for sleeping
purposes, should appear on the plans, and should also be noted in the
"Miscellaneous Information" section of the building permit.
See if questions arise,
