Wall Addition — Conceptual Request
Dear Mr. and Mrs. Helgans:
The Hideaway Design Review Committee (DRC) reviewed the conceptual wall addition requested for
consideration at your property on Via Castile. The committee finds the request acceptable subject to the
following information being received for verification of wall placement, screening, etc.
1. The hedge must be retained as installed.
2. The Oleanders must be retained as installed.
3. Plantings and vines will be required on the outside of the wall to soften it as viewed from
Hideaway Club Drive and the Avenue 52 entrance (please refer to the wall and landscape recently
installed at 52385 Via Castile for an example of this requirement).
4. The corner that is closest to the neighboring Bungalow will need to be modified. As shown on the
exhibit it is too close to the neighboring lot. Adding a radius at the corner to match the opposite
side of the wall will help in this regard.
5. The proposed wall location must be staked in the field and string lines showing the proposed
heights must be provided for review at one of the upcoming DRC meetings (uly 16`h or August
6`h; there is no meeting being held on August 20`h). This will help determine the wall heights that
can be approved.
6. Please submit all of the required information, including existing and proposed plant material, on a
full size set of drawings and all applicable grading information for final review and approval of
the project.
