The' site is located at 53-340 Via Dona within the Hideaway development in- the City of La Quinta, California. A single-family residence is proposed for the site. It is our understanding that the proposed residence. will be of relatively lightweight wood -frame construction.. Because the lot was previously rough graded fine, grading was limited to minor cuts'and fills generally less than 1 foot in depth within the building pad area. The lot was observed to be clear of vegetation and roots prior to grading. Grading was performed using conventional heavy equipment. Field testing was performed on December 13, 2006. Testing indicates that a minimum of 90 percent relative compaction was attained in the areas tested. The passing test results indicate compliance with the project specifications at the tested locations and depths but are no guarantee or warranty of the contractors work. Field. Tests: In-place. moisture/density tests were performed using a nuclear density gauge in accordance with -test methods ASTM D 2922 and ASTM D 3017. A total of 3 tests were performed.. The test results are summarized on the attached data sheet. Laboratory Tests: The moisture -density relationships for the tested materials were determined in the laboratory in accordance with test method ASTM D 1557-91'. Laboratory test results are summarized on the. attached data sheet: ` xTEST RESULTS NAME:'S3 340: Via Dona (The Hideaway) PROJECT NO: 522 -06807... - PROJECT, LOCA'T'ION: La Quinta area of Riverside'County, California. ^'.
