Shear wall 7 in Kitchen, where sill plate is broken at plumbing provide minimum (2)-2x6 post with HD8A holdown on each side of plate break. Epoxy 7/8" dia. all -thread 12" into footing using Simpson SET for holdown anchorage. 2. Shear wall 45 and 46 in Master Bath, where sill plate is broken at plumbing provide minimum (2)-2x6 post with HD5A holdown on each side of plate break. Epoxy 5/8" Sia. all -thread 12" into footing using Simpson SET for holdown anchorage. 3. Shear wall 20 in Master Bedroom, where sill plate is broken at plumbing provide minimum (2)-2x6 post with HD5A holdown on each side of plate break.
