Dear Mark,
We have a problem which has developed on our Lot # 248, 47650 Via Montiigo; regarding the flatwork, located on the North side
of the house. Danny- Crawford told us in December of 1998, that we mush have 4" of exposure from finished flatwork to the
screed. We were completely unaware of this when the flatwork waspoured, however you can see by the enclosedpictures that
the area in question has a Deckodrain system down -the -middle with each -side tapering to allow water -flow -to the drain system.
It is obvious from the -pictures that we do not have 4" below screed at the back of the home, but the flow line from the back to
the front probably averages 2". ;
Your inspector, Steve Traxel, advised us to writeyou this letter asking foryour help in determining a solution to thisproblem
by approving.existmgflatwork7which includes -the -drain system. -Since the -home -is occupied, it would be -a - tremendous
inconvenience to the homeowner if we have to tear out and repour this sideyard.
Any considerationyou-can give -us in -regards -to -approval ufihe--eeistig conditions -viii be greatly -appreciated.
