Install holdown straps for shear walls at Roof level as per structural drawings. Install min. 2-2X6 studs at Floor level exactly below the roof shear wall end posts and provide specified strap holdowns as per structural plans. Please refer to detail 16/S1.5 &. attached d.t'ails for strap holdown attachment to floor shear walls. Provide edge nailing along 2-2X6 stud posts as per shear wall schedule. 2. A 2X6 sill plate was used instead of a 3X6 sill plate at shear wall # 10 at GLest 2. Epoxy 5/8" diameter A.T. 7" into existing footing using Simpson SET epoxy. Space A.-. so that there is a sill anchor every 20" o/c. Special Inspection is required for epoxied condition 3. Sheath shear wall # 18 & 19 located at Garage as per shear wall type `C'. 4. Provide blocking and CS16 coil strapping above and below clerestory 'window opening as per detail 7/S5.4 at Great room. 5. Trellis construction was incomplete at the time of structural observation. This structural observation does not relieve the City in any way from performing their standard structural inspections nor is it in lieu of any code required special inspections. The structural observation performed should not be construed as a detailed structural inspection but as a structural observation for general conformance as per CBC 1702,220_ If you have any questions please call.
