A copy of the Code is attached. Detached guest houses that propose kitchens shall be for residents 62=years and older only (i.e., Granny Unit). Please have the applicant or architect contact our office and we will explain the procedure. If the stove is removed, the applicant/architect can process through -our staff a Plot Plan application and pay the filing fee of $75.00 for a detached guest house. The separation between the house and the detached guest house shall be increased to six -feet in accordance with Chapter 9.32.030. A setback adjustment application can be processed if the Municipal Code provisions are not being reduced by more than 20% provided required findings can be made. A copy of the Code is attached. The developers shall provide a copy of the Grant Deed for the property to verify ownership and so that we can prepare a deed restriction for this development application as required.
