The Architectural/Landscape Committee of the Mountain View Country Club
Homeowners' Association have reviewed the plans to add a courtyard gate and alter
your existing landscape per the application submitted. The committee is pleased to
inform you that it has approved the plans per the following conditions:
1) Management needs a picture of the gate you are planning to install prior to
installation
2) The committee suggests a Carolina Cherry as opposed to a Ficus for the
following reasons:
a. Carolina, Cherry looks like a Ficus but does not have evasive roots like
a Ficus
b. There are two types of Ficus—tree and hedge. Even the hedge type
of Ficus has evasive roots
e. The roots can undermine the integrity of your pool and other
hardscape in time.
