To Whom It May Concern,
I am a licensed Architect in the State of California.
The builders of the noted project requested I certify the existing and new work for the noted project.
The existing structure is a single story wood frame single family residence. The proposed work is
infilling between the stud and plaster columns of an existing framed and finished.patio cover -on the
front (northeast) corner of the building. The patio cover is adjacent to theMaster Bedroom. I have
reviewed the documents prepared by JED Design, the existing building In the field and photos of
the work in progress.
I have determined the work for the proposed renovation constitutes no significant impact on the
existing structure. The work is only infilling between existing columns, demolition of an existing
piece of exterior concrete fiat work and replacing It with a structural concrct& slab on grado to be
tied into the existing column pad footings, refinishing the infill with piaster to match the existing,
adding new windows between the existing columns and finishing the resulting interior space.
