The builders of the noted project requested I certify two of the details found on sheet SDA of the drawings. Detail 1/SDA indicate the perimeter footings to be 24° deep by15" wide. This is in error. The perimeter footing only needs to be 20° by 12". What has been built is 24" deep by 12" wide. Detail 4/SD.1 contained dimensions that were unreadable. Our firm has confirmed that the contractor has built the garage perimeter footing in accordance with what the foot in should have been. again the footing was to be 20" deep by 12" wide" and what was built was 24° deep by 12" wide. In light of the actual design loading I hereby certify that what has been built complies with the section necessary to support the applied loads and conforms with the 2007 CBC. I hereby state therefore, that the project still conforms to the structural design intent of the structural design calculations and is ready for back checking. Charles D.
