SUBJECT: Additions to Santa Rosa Cove Residences
Dear Mr. Scrivens: .
This letter is in response to your letter of August 28, 2008, regarding a proposed
addition to Mr. Harris' residence at 49205 Avenida Vista Bonita it Santa Rosa Cove.
Your suggestion to re-zone the properties in Santa-Rosa Cove to medium or medium-
high density residential will only allow a 60% lot coverage which believe would still
not allow additions to most if not all of these homes.
The fact that additions have been constructed in the past does not allow us to
continue to allow them.
`4 An amendment to the Specific Plan for the project (SP 121-E) coulJ allow additions to
the Santa Rosa units by inserting a development provision that says something to the
effect that "The residential units in Santa Rosa Cove are allowed to construct additions
within the boundaries of the individual residential lot provided all Building Codes are
complied with". An amendment to the Specific Plan would have to be applied for by
the HOA on behalf of the homeowners, require. a processing fee :)f $2000. and take
approximately 5-6 months to process:
