RE: Occupancy load for conversion of existing bar / eating are to arcade
To whom it may concern:
The above referenced will undergo a partial conversion of an existing bar / seated eating area
to a new arcade. Per California Building Code Table 1004.1.2 of Section 1004.1.2 the
maximum floor area per occupant is 15 new square feet for the new conversion. The floor
area being converted is 1580 square feet. Therefore, the new occupancy load at the
converted bar to arcade area is approximately 1580 divided 15 for an occupancy of 105
persons.
Therefore, the total allowable occupancy of the 1580 square foot converted area is 100.

1. Provide a grease interceptor letter from sewer agency.
2. The finishes at the. new salad/soup bar must extend 3' in all directions. The finishes will be
evaluated on site.
Note: The kitchen will not change under this approval all equipment remains the same. The finishes will be
evaluated onsite. If anv eouioment or finishes are found in disrepair must be reDlaved or reDlaced.
Note: The bar and brewery equipment will be removed and capped off, this will be evaluated onsite
CONSTRUCTION INSPECTIONS: Contact the Plan Checker for a Preliminary Inspection when
construction is approximately 80%-complete, with plumbing, rough ventilation, and rough equipment
installed. Request for inspection should be made at least five (5) working days in advance.
A FINAL INSPECTION MUST be made upon completion of ALL work including finished details.
APPROVAL to operate shall not be granted, or remodeled areas approved to operate, until the facility has
passed the FINAL INSPECTION, and "APPLICATION TO OPERATE” has been completed and PERMIT
FEES have been paid.
Request for inspection should be made at leastfive(5) working days in advance.
