REQUEST: ADOPT AN ORDINANCE EXTENDING FOR 120 DAYS THE MORATORIUM ON THE APPROVAL OF ANY
LAND USE ENTITLEMENT, INCLUDING SUl3DMSIONS,USEPERMITS. VARIANCES. BUILDING PERMITS,
OR ANY OTHER APPLICABLE ENTITLEMENT, FOR ADDITIONAL BEDROOMS BY CONVERTING NON -
BEDROOM SPACESANDAREAS INTO BEDROOMS IN SPECIFIED RESIDENTIAL ZONES INTHE CITY OF
LA QUINTA, AND FINDING OF EXEMPTION PURSUANT TO CEQA GUIDELINES SECTIONS 15060(c)(2)

The Design and. Development Department has determined the proposed ordinance is exempt under the Cailfomia
Environmental Quality Act pursuantto CEQA Guidellnes Sections 15060(c)(2) and 15061(b)(3) — Review of Exemptons
— General Rule. The La Quinta City Council will consider this determination at the Hearing.
Any person may submit written comments on any of the contemplated actions listed above to the Desiga and
Development Department prior to the Hearing and/or may appear and be heard in support of, or opposition to, the
project at the time of the Hearing. If you challenge the declsion of any of the actions listed above In court, you may
be limited to raising only those issues that you or someone else raised either at the Public Hearing or In written
correspondence delivered to the Design and Development Department at, or prior to the Public Hearing. The proposed
tiles may be viewed by the public Monday through Thursday T30 a.m, to 5:30 p.m., and Friday 8:00 a.m, untll 5:00
