SPECIAL CONDITIONS / PERMIT NO. 1277
ROUGH GRADING / TRACT NO. 23269
The following conditions shall be met to the satisfaction of the City Engineer.
1. Permittee shall be responsible for dust and erosion control.
2. Streets shall be kept clean. They shall be completely cleaned at the end of the working
day and more frequently if required.
3. Contractor shall comply with the local noise ordinance. Operation and maintenance of
equipment within one half mile of human occupancy shall be performed only during the
time periods as follows:
October 1st - April 30th: Monday - Friday 7:00 A.M. - 5:30 P.M.
Saturday 8:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M.
May 1st - September 30: Monday - Friday 6:00 A.M. - 7:00 P.M.
Saturday 8:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M.
Work shall be prohibited anytime on Sunday and Federal. Holidays.
4. Permittee shall assume responsibility for repair of existing pavement breakdown at the
haul road access to any public or. private street and for any damage to other City streets
or facilities.
5. Any on-site haul road shall be effectively destroyed at the conclusion of the work to
prevent use by unauthorized vehicles.
6. Construction traffic shall be permitted a single access point off Adams Street only,
subject to the approval of the City Engineer. Permittee shall furnish, install, and
maintain stop signs to stop construction traffic prior to entering Adams Street. Advance
warning signs and traffic control shall be installed and maintained in accordance with
Cal -Trans Standards and subject to the approval of the City Engineer.
7. Permittee shall notify the City at 564-2246 at least 24 hours in advance of starting
construction.
8. Prior to the start of construction, the Engineer of the work shall submit an erosion
control plan to the City Engineer for approval. Erosion control shall be provided for the
entire irrigating and plant establishment. Plant establishment and adequate growth shall
be to provide satisfactory protection against wind and water erosion.
9. All improvements shall be constructed as per approved plans.
10. Once the grading is complete the applicant shall submit pad certifications and compaction
reports to the Engineering Department.
