Permit is issued for the sole purpose of grading. 2. Permittee shall be responsible for providing continuous dust and erosion control. 3. Streets shall be kept clean. They shall be be completely cleaned at the end of the working ,day and more frequently if required. 4. Contractor shall comply with the local noise ordinance. Any on-site haul road shall be effectively destroyed at the conclusion of the work to prevent use by unauthorized vehicles. 7. Construction traffic shall be permitted a single access point off Washington Street only, subject to the approval of the City Engineer. Permittee shall furnish, install, and maintain stop signs to stop construction traffic prior to entering Washington Street. Advance warning signs and traffic control shall be installed and maintained in accordance with Cal Trans Standards. Permittee shall submit a traffic control plan for approval by the City Engineer. 8. Permittee shall notify the City at 564-2246 at least 24 hours in advance of starting construction. 9. Prior to the start of construction, the Engineer of the work shall submit an erosion control plan to the City Engineer for approval. Erosion control shall be provided for the entire area involved and may include but not be limited to seeding, irrigating and plant establishment. Buyer -agrees to give written notice of any shortage or defect within five da' I I ­Aays days after delivery of material or within five after the completion of the contract if for both laboir and maierial, and no'claims will be allowed thereafter. No allowance will lie, made for labor, materials, repairs or alterations without our written consent. 2. Delivery of material will be made at the curb unless otherwise ordered, and then only to a point accessible to our truck. In the event of delivery beyond the curblifie this company will not assume liability for -damage to sidewalks, driveways, or other property and buyer will indemnify seller for any loss or liability incurred as a result of such delivery. 3. Buyer agrees to obtain and pay for all permits, inspection- fees, engineering, soll.and compaction tests as required, unless specifically stated otherwise. 4. ' It is a nuisance and it is. unlawful for any person to keep any animal, fowl, or bird, wild or domestic, except customary domestic pets, within twenty feet of any building, school, church, hospital, or any residence or dwelling house or other buildings used for the habitation of human beings. (Ord. 10 § 1 (part), 1982) 6.08.080 Animals on unsanitary premises. It is a nuisance,'and it is unlawful, for any person to keep or permit to be kept on any premises any wild: or domestic animal, fowl, or bird, when the premises or the animal, fowl or bird is offensive, obnoxious, filthy or in any unsanitary condition. (Ord. 10 § 1 (part), 1982) 6.08.090 - Disposal of carcasses. It is a nuisance, and it is unlawful, for the owner, possessor, or the person responsible for the death thereof, on whatever premises it may be, to fail to cause any dead animal or part thereof, within six hours after the death of the animal, to be buried so that there is at least three feet of soil above the carcass, or to be disposed of in some other sanitary manner; provided, however, that this section shall not apply to animals slaughtered for and fit for human food. (Ord. 10 § 1 (part), 1982) 6.08.100 Discharge of sewage upon ground. It is a nuisance, and it is unlawful, for any person to permit any part of the contents of any private vault, cesspool, septic tank, water closet, urinal, pipe, sewer line, or any sewage, effluent, night soil, slop water, or any other filthy water, matter, or substance, to flow or discharge upon the ground or upon the surface of any lot or premises or in any public street or other public place. (Ord. 10 § 1 (part), 1982) 6.08.105 Animal manure prohibited unless odorless. It is a nuisance, and it is unlawful, for any person to use, stockpile, have in possession, deliver or convey any form of animal manure at or to a point within the city unless the manure has been processed or treated so as to render it substantially free of unpleasant odor. This section shall not apply to domesticated pets' excrement or to stables or riding stables; provided, that the manure from the horses is not used for cultivating or mulching purposes.
