CALL TO ORDER
A special meeting of the La Quinta Housing Authority was called to order at 8:20 p.m.
by Chairperson Sanchez.
PRESENT: Authority Members: Evans, Fitzpatrick, Peña, Chairperson Sanchez
ABSENT: Councilmember Radi
VERBAL ANNOUNCEMENT – AB 23 was made by the Authority Secretary
PUBLIC COMMENT ON MATTERS NOT ON THE AGENDA – None
CONFIRMATION OF AGENDA – Confirmed
CLOSED SESSION – None
ANNOUNCEMENTS, PRESENTATIONS, AND WRITTEN COMMUNICATIONS – None
CONSENT CALENDAR
1. APPROVE SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES DATED MARCH 20, 2018
MOTION – A motion was made and seconded by Authority Members Evans/Peña to
approve the Consent Calendar as recommended. Motion passed: ayes 4, noes 0,
absent 1 (Radi).
BUSINESS SESSION
1. ADOPT A RESOLUTION TO APPROVE A DEBT MANAGEMENT POLICY
[RESOLUTION NO. HA 2018-001]
Finance Director Campos presented the staff report, which is on file in the Clerk’s
Office.
MOTION – A motion was made and seconded by Authority Members Fitzpatrick/Evans
to adopt Resolution No. HA 2018-001 as recommended:
A RESOLUTION OF THE LA QUINTA HOUSING AUTHORITY ADOPTING A DEBT
MANAGEMENT POLICY
Motion passed: ayes 4, noes 0, absent 1 (Radi).

1. FISCAL YEAR 2018/19 PROPOSED HOUSING AUTHORITY BUDGET
Finance Director Campos presented the staff report, which is on file in the Clerk’s
Office.
Authority discussion followed regarding the annual budget audits and related costs.
Authority Members concurred with the proposed Housing Authority budget report as
submitted.

There being no further business, it was moved and seconded by Authority Members
