PUBLIC WORKS
This letter is in response to your inspector's request to
Provide information on the status of underground utility work at
the Quw EM rpr9je t Anthony indicated that the City requires
utility companies to "sign -off" on their respective; systems
prior to paving of streets. We have made contact with each
utility company to request an approval letter. However, the
utility companies will not supply such written confirmation
until the systems are entirely complete and progressed for
service.
As Development Project Manager, I am confident that any
facilities below ground have been installed correctly and no
repairs will be necessary. CVWD has accepted the video for
sewer improvements and the pressure testing results -for the
water system improvements. Additionally, our underground
contractor has tested the conduit system for all utility street
crossings and obtained favorable results. In short, we have
been reassured that no further underground construction will be
necessary within the streets scheduled for paving.
Please allow inspections on street improvement work to continue.
We accept the responsibility for any unforeseen repair _work that
would involve paving removal and replacement. Should repairs be
necessary after the ut 1it.ies have been accepted, the utility

development, have been designated as "private". Repair work on
these streets would not involve traffic control, resident
notification, or any public works participation other than
inspection.
