Re: Tract 23995
,Dear John:
Inco Homes is utilizing the existing water line at the intersection of Miles & Adams
to service a temporary water line that provides fire protection for our model homes.
At the current time, construction is underway on new 18" water lines in Miles and
Adams. It will be necessary to disconnect our temporary fire protection so that we
can complete the tie-ins and testing of these new lines. As a result, we will have to
install a temporary line from a different source in order to provide fire protection for
our models. Our proposal is to tie-in to the existing fire hydrant on the west side of
Harland Avenue just north of Miles, and run a temporary water line on grade in the
landscape area on the north side of Miles to a point opposite our model homes. It
will not be necessary for us to cut the street.
1 have enclosed a drawing that shows the proposed line. We have already talked with
the Fire Department and confirmed that this will satisfy their requirements for fire
protection for the models. We have also received approval from CVWD for the
connection. We. estimate that this temporary connection will be in place for
approximately 30 days. Upon removal of the temporary water line, Inco Homes will
restore the area, including landscaping, to its previous appearance.
We would like to install this temporary water line today. Please call us if you should
have any questions.
Sincerely,
1N H ES CORPORATION .
