Each year the applicant shall reapply to conduct temporary plant sales at this site. No fees will be required for this review. 4. A City Business License shall be acquired. 5. Within 30 -days of this approval, the applicant shall install a two-inch deep layer of gravel in front of the temporary sales stand per Chapter 6.16 (Dust Control). I currently lease ground from Sonny Kanlian to do my farming, and I wanted to get permission from the city of La Quinta to he allowed to sell my farm products along the property roadside on Jefferson Ave. It. would he a temporary stand set up in the afternoons and removed daily. This.would occur only when our product is being harvested. The harvest. periods are Usually only from February t.hru May. I came. into the city civic center. last week and was given information towards permitted uses for R-1 zone. Under the 9.32.010 permitted uses A-2 section it. mentions the sale of field crops, flower and vegetable gardening. It also mentions the Use of sale thereof from the premises. I would ask to be granted a use. permit to be allowed to sell my agr ir_.0 1 tura.l products . I want to he in good standing with the city, and above all legal in what I am doing. Attached is the area that I am farming. The road in t.his.area is quite rural and wide.
