Scope of Calculations:
Analyze wood pole to support the proposed 450 Mhz Antennaes, Boom Arm, Solar Panel, and
DCU Node cabinet. Use a combination of (2) 5/8" Diameter Through Bolts to support each
appurtenance to the pole.
References:
Douglas Fir or Southern Yellow Pine 35' Wood pole, Class 5.
Results:
The Wooden Pole, 4' Antennae Boom arm, 450 Mhz Antennas, Solar Panel, and DCU Node cabinet
are adequate and have sufficient capacity to support the proposed installation.
All engineering services are performed on the basis that the information used is current and correct.
The information may consist of, but not limited to information supplied by the client regarding the
structure itself. Aclara assumes that all structures were constructed in accordance with the drawings and
specifications and are in good condition & have not deteriorated, and that their capacity has'not
significantly changed from the "as new" condition. All services are performed, results obtained,
and recommendations made in accordance with generally accepted engineering principles and practices
of General Order 95..
