This correspondence shall serve as notification from The Tradition Architectural Design Review
Committee ("ADRC") that your revised remodel plans were reviewed at the July 7, 2017 meeting. The
committee is providing approval on the architecture, the pool and all improvements located outside of the
CVWD easement. This work can begin as soon as the applicable permits have been obtained. With
regard to the easement area the committee understands it is now your intent to restore the original design,
without changes. While you may move forward with this work, the committee cannot issue a formal
approval of the replacement hardscape and landscape without the approval from CVWD as these
materials were already removed and the ADRC does not believe they have the authority to approve the
design without CVWD's consent. From an aesthetic point of view only, the design is acceptable. Please
note the following two comments:
1. The committee has recommended approval of the Garage variance and the existing variance on
the opposite side of the home. These have been forwarded to the Board for final review and
consideration.
2. The comment regarding the Tipu trees was misunderstood. Tipu trees can be utilized; however,
the committee does not recommend them immediately adjacent to shared side yard property lines.
The replacement trees also get quite big and may overhang into the neighbor's property as well.
Some slight modification to the location(s) is being suggested.
