ROLL CALL PRESENT: Commissioners Blakeley, Marley, Quill, Wyler and Chair Chiapperini PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE Commissioner Quill led the Commission in the Pledge of Allegiance. ELECT A CHAIRPERSON Presented by Chris Escobedo, Community Resources Director MOTION - A motion was made and seconded by Commissioners Blakeley/Marley to postpone the election of a Chairperson to the Community Services Commission until the vacancy is official. Motion passed unanimously. 2. ELECT A VICE-CHAIRPERSON Presented by Chris Escobedo, Community Resources Director MOTION - A motion was made and seconded by Commissioners Blakeley/Marley to postpone the election for Vice-Chairperson to the Community Services Commission until the vacancy is official. Motion passed unanimously. 3. APPOINT A COMMISSIONER TO ASSIST AT THE CHRISTMAS TREE LIGHTING EVENT MOTION - A motion was made and seconded by Commissioners Wyler/Blakeley to appoint Commissioner Marley to assist at the Christmas Tree Lighting Event. Motion passed unanimously. CONSENT CALENDAR 1. APPROVE MINUTES OF JUNE 11, 2018 MOTION - A motion was made and seconded by Commissioners Quill/Chiapperini to approve the June 11, 2018 minutes as submitted. Motion passes: 4 ayes, 1 abstain (Blakeley). COMMISSIONER’S ITEMS COMMUNITY SERVICES COMMISSION MINUTES SEPTEMBER 10, 2018 ADJOURNMENT There being no further business, it was moved and seconded by Commissioners Marley/Wyler to adjourn the meeting at 7:04 p.m. Motion passed unanimously.
