Acceptance of Permit . '• The •moving of any, load or the doing of ; •'..
any work on the city road in accordance with a permit shall' '
be regarded -as an acceptance by -the Permittee of all terms
and conditions of a permit:'.p ^A`ermit is effective only
between the hours stated on;the face of the permit or as may
be specified in additional regulations. A permit is valid
only for'equipment owned or'oleased by the Permittee..
Work authorized' under a -,-permit is subject to inspection by
representatives of the City ,bf La Quinta and .costs of such '"
inspect shall'be borne by•the Permittee. ;-

Comply with•Applicable Laws.,' A permit is issued pursuant to ,
Section 35780-of!"the Vehicle Code. 'Except as specifically
provided herein',,.the requirements of the Vehicle Code.and any
vehicle registration requirements and other applicable laws_'

continued if legal weight limitations are achieved by removal ,
