By converting your current paper based and electronic document retrieval solution, La
Quinta will:
■ Increase document accessibility; users can simultaneously view/print/fax/email the
same imaged document.
■ Enjoy the cost efficiencies associated with an UNLIMITED user -licensing schema
per server.
■ Increase the level of security with imaged documents rather than physical
documents.
■ Experience increased IT resource effectiveness by eliminating the need for
individual workstation installation and support of proprietary software - a simple
web browser is all that is required.
■ Gain the benefit of an improved, user -friendlier interface.
■ Centralize the document image library to a single, online presence, thereby
eliminating the work associated with managing the present massive CD library.
■ Access documents instantaneously for referral to the customer, therefore providing

Physical & IT Security
Physical Security
Surveillance cameras to record activity in all perimeters.
Visitors are escorted at all times.
All employees must display ID Badges.
All physical security standards are documented.
Electronic access controls (key pads and fobs)
Uninterruptible power supply (UPS) and generator in place.
As a company hiring policy no relatives are employed.
Employees are not allowed to walk away from the working station while processing a job,
unless all work is accounted for in detail.
All cell phones must be locked away in employee's lockers, no cell phones are allowed at
the premises.
Various levels of access and authorizations.
IT Security
We employ, maintain and document working firewalls in order to restrict and mange all
access to and from the internal network.
Passwords and audit controls enabled at all times on all network equipment i.e. conduct
periodic perimeter scans and assessments to identify risks that could compromise the
network (evaluation of network perimeter via vulnerability scans, firewall audits, intrusion
detection system audits... etc.).
Voice and data network logically separated to guard against vulnerabilities.
Mechanisms in place to ensure availability of critical network resources i.e. diverse
routing, failover controls... etc.
No internet access, enforced through our active directory policy and firewall.
No portable Medias allowed, all ports are disconnected.
Employees are only allowed access to production software, none other.
Old media is destroyed than recycled one year from inactive date.
Active directory policies are broken down to departments and sub departments.
Production departments are denied access from saving data outside LAN.
Audits are performed randomly and periodically
Periodical meetings with department managers to discuss the outcome of policy audits and
evaluations.
All managers are aware and educated for the importance of all security policies.
