The records to be converted were retirement and benefit records for U.S. Coast Guard personnel. These services were performed on-site at the Coast Guard Personnel Center, located in the Federal Building, Topeka, KS. Work began in August, 2006 and was completed on scheduled in late February, 2007. Approximately 2.2 million pages of benefit and retirements records were scanned, indexed and up-loaded to the Coast Guard’s ImageNow document management system. Docucon’s expertise in the federal government sector and 29 years of experience handling sensitive records were key to the successful completion of this project. An Electronic Document Management System dramatically reduces the inherent inefficiencies associated with large paper based document collections. And, above all, once documents are imaged, they are available for concurrent use by department personnel. Services are mission critical. Docucon has now converted approximately 12+ million personnel, benefit and retirement record for federal and commercial clients in the past several years. Other clients include:  Indiana Public Employee’s Retirement Fund  Hewitt and Associates  Target   Employee’s Retirement System of Rhode Island  Citigroup  Kaiser Permanente   Travelers Insurance   Indiana Teacher’s Retirement Fund   Catholic Health Initiative  All services were performed at Docucon’s secure facility in San Antonio, TX. The project was completed by the end of February 2007. Docucon Imaging Services (Acq by SECUREONE Dec 2009). Docucon Imaging Services, Inc.
