The committee had asked that a revised Preliminary submittal be provided prior to moving on to working drawings; however, it appears the set received was for both Preliminary and Final review. As a Preliminary Submittal the project was approved with comments. As a Final set of Construction Documents a conditional approval is being granted. if the following comments are not modified and submitted in a full set of revised working drawings for review, prior to the request for setback observation, the project will be held in the field and framing will not be able to continue. All comments must be addressed and approved prior to the Setback Observation. 1. The Electrical plan calls for "Automatically illuminated address numbers". Please provide details with respect to how this will look on the elevations. Normally the committee recommends individual numerals illuminated with ground lighting that meets code requirements. 2. The chimney detail on D2 does not appear to show any screening of the manufactured spark arrestor. Please clarify or modify as appropriate. 3. The DkC's previous comment stated as follows: At the rear elevation the committee preferred the weight' of the columns as designed in the first elevation sheet rather than the design proposed on thg singular sheet submitted with revisions a few days later. Anton Marinkovich's letter states that the columns were "lef(higher" per the DRC request; however, the plans reflect that the column bases were lowered. Please see the attached photo below which shows the committee preference with regard to the various designs that have been submitted thus far. 4. The DRC had a previous comment as follows: The planting plan was approved subject to any planting or off property lmp?-ovements, being submitted to Gerry Tarsitano prior to submittal of the Final Working Drawing The Golf C'lub's written approval is required Anton's note states that Gerry's approval will be provided; however, it was not provided with your submittal. In an effort to help expedite review on your behalf the DRC scheduled a meeting with Gent' to discuss your project. His notes are listed below: The golf club has apps oved the revisions on the golf course subject to the FJ 1!2wing comments: 1. The off property improvements must be identified in the field for review prior to any changes being made. The Golf Course Superintendant will review and make chrnr;es as necessary. Please provide at least 48-notice to the GC Superintendant for review. 2. As noted above, an on -site review with the Golf Course Superintendant andyour landscape contractor must be completed before any work commences. 3. In addition to reviewing the changes prior to work commencing, Gerry Tarsitano must also be contacted during the grading to make sure the work is progressing as approved. Testing indicates that the site soil is generally considered potentially corrosive with respect to concrete. The testing indicated a soluble sulfate content of 500 ppm (0.050 percent) that corresponds with "negligible" exposure category in accordance with CBC Table 19-A-3. In accordance with Table 19-A-3, special sulfate related concrete mix designs are not required. If you have questions regarding this letter, please contact the undersigned.
