Dear Homeowner,
Thank you for submitting an architectural application to install two alumawood patio covers at your
residence. We are happy to report that your application has been approved, as submitted.
La Quinta Fairways HOA acknowledges that any and all agreed changes to the original design that may
be a condition of this approval will be at the homeowner's expense. The correction of any damage caused
by this agreed construction will also be at the homeowner's expense. Homeowner shall henceforth agree
to maintain the improvement in accordance with the guidelines and aesthetics of the community.
It is the homeowner's responsibility to obtain any permits, which may be required. Please be aware the
ARC approval does not supersede City Building Codes. You should contact the City Planning Department
to determine what, if any, permits maybe required. Additionally, the Board of Directors encourages that
you use a licensed and insured contractor. This approval does not release the homeowner from meeting
any county, state or federal requirements such as building permits, workmen's compensation, or other
waivers or permits.
Thank you for submitting an application in advance. Please retain this letter in your files. We ask that you
contact management upon completion at mhow@drinintemet.com and submit photos of the completed
improvement so that the committee and/or management can inspect and see that all work is as agreed
before the final sign -off.

Vendor Rules and Renulativns
1. All necessary permits will be obtained prior to starting work and the cost of the permits, the responsibility for obtaining the
permits, and the subsequent inspections will be borne by the applicant
2. No materials will be stored in the street at any time. All materials are to be stoma in a protected area on the homeowner
property.
3. All debris must be cleared from the front yard on a dairy basis.
4. Any dirt or debris left In the street must be removed and/or swept up and washed clean at the end of each workday,
5. The property must be left in a safe and secure manner at the and of each workday.
6. The homeowner will be responsible for any damage to the common areas caused by the vendor while any work is being
performed.
7. Homeowners are responsible for notifying all appropriate utility companies and for properly marking 'dig' areas.
6. No equipment or construction vehicles will be left overnight in the street or visible to the street.
9. Consumption of alcoholic beverages, controlled substances or Illegal drugs Is strictly prohibited and is a cause of
immediate removal From the property.
10. All dirt areas not landscaped or otherwise prepared must be treated with an agent to prevent blowing dust/sand.
11. (ANe acknowledge that all approved changes In lha original design will be at our expense, that any damage to or
relocation of existing sprinkler systems, underground ughlies, building stnreture, exterior landscaping or any other damage
