With the exception of the spa and aluminum covers (both require structural calculations to permit) we
hope this description and the accompanying drawings are sufficient to gain board approval for the
improvements listed above. We have initiated discussions contractors but no final or detailed designs
for the pool or covers are available at this time. When we have a final designs we will submit it to the
board, Also we have not selected the specific trees or woody bushes for the side and back yards. The
plan view drawing has the locations of the existing trees and the planned locations of future trees. We
will submit, a more detailed plan before planting.
City building permits are required for the pool, aluminum covers, the new door, electric line, gas line,
gate columns and walls over two feet. For those projects that require permits, the La Quinta Building
Department indicated I need an approval letter from the board,
I need building permits for the New Door, gas line and electric line as soon as possible as I have
contractors available to do the work as soon as I can obtain permits. If possible a quick letter of approval
for at least those items would be appreciated.
