Obtain the appropriate building permits from the Building Department. 2. The site shall be approximately 5,760 (90' x 64') square feet and shall include two tents, approximately 2,790 (31' x 90') square feet each in size. Said tents shall not be higher than 16 feet in height. A connecting corridor approximately 10 feet wide shall allow access between the two tents. The corridor shall not be higher than 12 feet in height. 3. The tent shall meet the requirements of the Riverside County Fire Marshal with regard to fire retardant materials, fire extinguishers, emergency access, etc. 4. The temporary facility shall be permitted to remain until January 15, 2004, unless a time extension is applied for and granted by this Department. The Community Development Director may extend the permit for a set time period if needed. No fee is required to extend this permit. If the temporary use is terminated prior to the expiration of this permit (January 15, 2004), it must be removed within tens days after said expiration date. Dust control measures shall be employed during the operation of the facility. Such control measures may include paving the site with asphalt, watering the site or installing groundcover to reduce dust emissions. 6. The City may elect to add Conditions to this application request to mitigate any problems that arise not previously addressed herein. 7. The applicant/property owner agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the City of La Quinta (the "City"), it's agents, officers and employees from any claim, or litigation arising out of the City's approval of this project. This indemnification shall include any award toward attorney's fees. The City of La Quinta shall have the right to select its defense counsel in its sole discretion. This decision may be appealed to the Planning Commission by anyone provided they submit the necessary paperwork and filing fee of $175.00 with this office within 15 days of approval of this permit.
