The project was approved to start construction subject to the following comments being addressed, in a revised submittal package, no later t an February 12th for review at the February 19, 2019 meeting. The committee reviewed the respernse letter provided by Stracts regarding the shed roof design; however, there seems to be some confusion regarding the request for modification. The November 1')1 letter expressed the committee's concerns and images were provided as attachments to the letter that indicated exactly what was expected based on the November 6" meeting and plan review. The modification being requested will also allow for ease in installing window coverings on the interior of the home. As this element is a guest room located at the main entry of the home, privacy will be needed on occasion. While the committee does not typically review the interior aspects of the home, they offer this information as a secondary reason to support the requested modification. An image has been provided again for your review. In addition, the window panes greatly exceed the guideline allowance at approximately 4-Moot by 5-foot. 2. Please clarify the wall design on the southwest side of the lot where there are elements that appear to extend over the side yard property line. 3. The committee included the request to add the privacy wall at the stairs on previous review letters and it has still not been modified. This may not leave been a requirement on previous homes, but it is included in the current guidelines and the modification is required. 4. The exterior wall sconces include no specifications on the plans. 5. The roof file coloring is not specified on the Roof plan or Elevations (just the manufacturer is provided). 6. The Mechanical and Plumbing sheets were missing from the submittal and are required with your next submission. 7. The lawn extension proposed on the golf course property must be approved by Gerry Tarsitano on behalf of the Golf Club. 8. Please submit the artificial turf sample for review and approval. 9. The irrigation plan references pots; however, the committee was unable to locate any pots on the plans. 10. Courtesy comment: There are Ficus proposed at 2' on center which will create a very dense hedge. 80955 Avenue 52, La Quinta, CA 92253 0 760-393,5210 Building Permit Number: Project Description: SFR Exempt: ❑ (Materials may contain hazardous wastes and are not subject to recycling provisions) Construction Debris Management Plan Plan Submittal Date 2/21/2019 Job Site Address Owner's Namel Number, Street, or PO Boxl City, State, Postal Codel Owner's Phone Numberlllli Owner's E-Mail Address Project Manager's Name Project Manager's Phone Number Project Manager's E-mail Address Builder / Contractor Number, Street or PO Box City, State, Postal Code Project Square Footage City Approval By Date of City Approval Materials To Be Discarded: 53079 Via Savona (Lot #31 & 32C) Brad & Michelle Tonkin c/o 40101 Monterey Ave B1-214 Rancho Mirage, CA. 92270 760-702-0119 sunrose.sedonar Sunrose Corp 760-702-0119 suer_ os0.sedonnnnmr ll.com Sunrose Corp 40101 Monterey Ave B1-214 Rancho Mirage, CA. 92270 Approx. 7,283 square feet Renado Gouldlock-DEC/Burrtec Waste 02) 21 ) 10 Product Tons Trash 29.50 Not recyclable Asphalt 0.00 Recyclable Brick/Block 0.00 Recyclable Cardboard 0.00 Recyclable Commingled 0.00 Recyclable Concrete 1 32.00 1 Recyclable Drywall 3.50 Recyclable Donated / Reuse* 0.00 Recyclable RE E. This flow can be achieved by using multiple fire hydrants. This simulated system flow analysis may not Include all facilities that may be required for this development/project. Please check with Development Services for further information on all required facilities. The theoretical flow to drop the residual pressure to 20 psi is greater than 5,000 gpm. Please note the theoretical flow exceeds CVWD's design criteria on the domestic water network. These results are based on hydraulic modelling and not a guarantee that CVWD's domestic water system will have the capacity to supply water to the project at the flows or pressures indicated. It is important to note that the capacity of the on -site fire system, meters, service lines, backflow assemblies and other appurtenances were not considered in this analysis, which may alter actual flows or pressures. Due to continuous changes in the system, CVWD only considers this system flow analysis valid for six months from date of modelling/analysis, These system flow analysis comments are for plan check purposes only. The ultimate design responsibility resides with the Engineer -of -Record for this Project. A score of zero represents the energy performance of a building that combines high levels of energy efficiency with renewable generation to"zero out' its TDV energy. Because EDR includes consideration of components not regulated by Title 24, Part 6 (such as domestic appliances and consumer electronics), it is not used to show compliance with Part 6 but may instead be used by local jurisdictions pursuing local ordinances under Title 24, Part 11 (CALGreen). As a Standard Design building under the 2016 Building Energy Efficiency Standards is significantly more efficient than the baseline EDR building, the EDR of the Standard Design building is provided for Information. Similarly, the EDR score of the Proposed Design is provided separately from the EDR value of installed PV so that the effects of efficiency and renewable energy can both be seen EDR of Standard Efficiency EDR of Proposed Efficiency EDR Value of Proposed PV + Battery Final Proposed EDR 47.9 47.7 0.0 47.7 ❑ Design meets Tier 1 requirement of 15% or greater code compliance margin (CALGreen A4.203.1.2.1) and QII verification prerequisite. ❑ Design meets Tier 2 requirement of 30% or greater code compliance margin (CALGreen A4.203.1.2.2) and QII verification prerequisite. ❑ Design meets Zero Net Energy (ZNE) Design Designation requirement for Single Family in climate zone CZ15 (CALGreen A4.203.1.2.3) including on -site photovoltaic (PV) renewable energy generation sufficient to achieve a Final Energy Design Rating (EDR) of zero or less. The PV System and QII must be verified. Notes: • Excess PV Generation EDR Credit: Bypassing PV size limit may violate Net Energy Metering NEM) rules REQUIRED SPECIAL FEATURES The following are features that must be installed as condition for meeting the modeled energy performance for this computer analysis. • Window overhangs and/or fins HERS FEATURE SUMMARY The following is a summary of the features that must be field -verified by a certified HERS Rater as a condition for meeting the modeled energy performance for this computer analysis.
