RE: : Sign Approval 2004-783 - Permanent Monument Signs for
La Quinta Professional Plaza — Washington Street and Avenue 47
Dear Mr. McDermott:
In regards to the above subject, this Department has approved your application to install
three plaza monument ID signs (approved as Exhibits A and B, enclosed). This approval
is subject to the following conditions:
1. This approval is limited to three monument signs, to be designed and constructed
in accordance with the approved Exhibits for SA 2004-783, and to be located as
set forth in the approved Sign Program for La Quinta Professional Plaza (SA
2003-746). Signs shall utilize the same colors, materials, etc. as approved under.
the Sign Program, except as modified under this approval.
2. All lettering for the monuments shall comply with the approved sign program.
The La Quinta script is not approved under this application.
3. The applicant is responsible for proper sign maintenance and compliance with
other general sign standards as set forth in the City's sign code (Section
9.160.030), as well as procuring any required building permit(s).
4. Installation of the signs shall comply with the approved Exhibits A and B, and the
applicable provisions of the La Quinta Professional Plaza approval under Specific
Plan 2000-049, and the approved Sign Program (SA 2003-746).
This decision may be appealed to the Planning Commission pursuant to Section
9.200.120, provided the application requirements of said Section are met within 15
days from the date of this letter. The filing fee for an appeal application is $175.00
