president. We are making arrangements to repair a perimeter wall which has been found to be
in violation of the La Quinta building code, as it exceeds the 6 foot height limit that was initially
permitted.
As president of the HOA I am authorized to take any actions I deem necessary to carry out my

Our office did a site visit on the block wall that was constructed along the westerly line of the Tract
and in the area of the existing retention basin on March 21, 2019.
We found that the original wall height was constructed per our Grading Plan along this area. Since
then there has been additional block courses set on top of the wall, which was not approved by this
office.
Our office found that at some locations there has been 3 to 4 course of blocks been placed on top
of the approved block wall height.
A is our recommendation that the blocks that have been placed above our design elevation be
removed, the design of the wall is only designed to be at this height and additional height can take
away the structural integrity of the wall.
