I just wanted you to know as the building's owner I'm fully aware of their plans to apply for a demo permit right away for this remodel. I hereby authorize the City to issue all appropriate permits to complete this project. I have signed the permit application that Sebastian got from you to so indicate. Leslie Locken will be coordinating this with you and if you need anything else signed on behalf of the building owner, she or I can sign it. I would suggest that in addition to doing a demo permit that they should apply for a simple "in ground waste lines" plumbing permit so they can saw cut floor, excavate, install new waste lines and hook up to the existing grease trap, get new ABS inspected then be able to backfill and re -pour the concrete floor. This will let them get the messy demo and in ground plumbing work done while you review. the details of their primary permit application for the things they discussed with you today. With that I will bow out and leave this to you, Leslie, Sebastian and Mike to get this done this summer so we can welcome another great restaurant to Old Town this fall.
