It is the mission of Vermillion Promotions to inspire a national interest in the arts by producing sophisticated, interactive and visually stunning venues that bring people from all walks of life together. The event had been created and produced by a non‐profit organization for twenty three years. When this organization cancelled the event, it left a void in the renowned Loveland Art weekend which has always celebrated three shows running on the same weekend, and providing the City with their largest revenue weekend of the year. The cancellation also left many professional artists with hole in their schedule. A large group of these artists contact the group at Vermillion Promotions with a desire to have us step in and continue the event – it was a short notice, but we agreed, and after only four years, the Loveland Invitational has been ranked in the top one hundred ?Fine Art Shows in the nation. Subcontracting Vermillion Promotions understands that the City prefers not to have any portion of the scope of services subcontracted unless proposer can demonstrate to the City’s satisfaction that it is in the best interest of the project – Vermillion has no intention of subcontracting at this time. Budget, Timeline, an proof of successful execution This Proposal was requested and submitted on an expedited basis due to the time constraints in producing a quality event in March of 2020 ‐ Based on the history of Vermillion Promotion’s events, references attesting to our credibility, and an outstanding reputation among the artists objective evidence has been provide to ensure that our Team of professionals can achieve success to the satisfaction of the City. Vermillion Promotions is very familiar with the highly rated ‘La Quinta Arts Festival’. Our group has attended the events in La Quinta, Indian Wells, and Indio for many years. In addition, we have worked with many of the same artists that have participated in our events, and have encouraged us to pursue this proposal. For the past four years, our group collected festival information, including advertising, images, lists of participating artists, site layout, sponsors, food vendors, volunteers, jury process, etc. During this time we have forged relationships with local businesses, non‐profit organizations, residents, and artists (both local and global), which should prove to be very beneficial in providing a solid basis for a fast track proposal with a successful outcome. In addition, our Social media reach in the La Quinta will be significant from day one. This event would immediately have its own website and face book page. An estimated budget is attached, however it may be adjusted based on final determination of the event site and the City’s agreed involvement. It is always our goal to have Artists fees and sponsorships fund the events. Most of our events are free to the general public with the exception of Loveland Colorado. If an event is ticketed, we choose a non‐profit to partner with for a portion of the proceeds. For instance, a Rotary Club, Kiwanis International, Chamber of Commerce, or Art Organization that can provide volunteers and the event liquor license. H. Insurance Upon acceptance of this proposal, Vermillion Promotions will provide the required Insurance coverage through Fowler Insurance agency and required Auto insurance through USAA. I. Patrons and artists are already familiar with the geography and set‐up. Silver Rock – If grounds are completed and consistent with Phase 1 enhanced artist rendering, booths would be placed in meandering rows along the walkways, and in quad formations on the interior, along with a designated Sculpture garden area. Vermillion Promotions has a Civil Engineer on staff that designs our site plans with AutoCAD or Visio. Once the terrain is confirmed we can quickly detail a map for publication. Based on historical data, we will plan for 20,000. The only way to be sure is through gate receipts, parking spaces, etc. Note* typically it takes 3‐5 years to build a successful signature event. A published cancellation of a previous event can have an effect on established attendance numbers, so its possible attendance may be lighter the first year. PARKING PLAN  City has provided parking spaces for both Civic Center Plaza and Silver Rock. Depending on construction activities, we will rely on these numbers and locations. In the future, when time allows we may consider a partnership with a significant non‐profit organization and implement a percentage based event. Or, we could also consider a separate large tent for a commission based sculpture show, to benefit a specific charity organization.
