HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMISSION AGENDA 2 MARCH 19, 2015 HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMISSION MINUTES THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 19, 2015 CALL TO ORDER A regular meeting of the La Quinta Historic Preservation Commission was called to order at 3:37 p.m. by Chairperson Maevers. PRESENT: Commissioners Leila Namvar, Maria Puente, Linda Williams and Chairperson Kevin Maevers ABSENT: Commissioner Redmon STAFF PRESENT: Principal Planner Wally Nesbit and Executive Assistant Monika Radeva Commissioner Namvar led the Commission in the Pledge of Allegiance. PUBLIC COMMENT - None CONFIRMATION OF AGENDA- Confirmed APPROVAL OF MINUTES Motion - A motion was made and seconded by Commissioners Puente/Namvar to approve the Historic Preservation Commission Minutes of November 20, 2014, as submitted. AYES: Commissioners Maevers, Namvar, Puente, and Williams. NOES: None. ABSENT: Commissioner Redmon. ABSTAIN: None. BUSINESS SESSION 1 . Specific Plan 2014-1001, Tentative Tract Map 36744, and Site Development Permit 2014-1003 submitted by Griffin Ranch Investors, LP for the consideration of a Historical/Archaeological Resources Survey Report and a Paleontological Resources Assessment prepared by CRM Tech for an approximately 40 acre site. Project: The Estates at Griffin Lake. Location: south side of Avenue 54, between Monroe and Madison Streets (81345 Avenue 54). Motion - A motion was made and seconded by Commissioners Puente/Williams accepting the "Historical/Archaeological Resources Survey prepared by CRM Tech HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMISSION MINUTES 1 FEBRUARY 19, 2015 for 81345 Avenue 54 for the Estates at Griffin Lakes project as submitted with staff's recommendations.
