Installation of a polyurethane foam and coating
Installation of new the underlayment.
SCOPE OF WORK (Flat Roof Areas)
1. Remove debris from the flat roof area.
2. Prime entire roof deck.
3. Spray apply polyurethane foam at a thickness of 1" (+ or — %"). Only 31b. density foam will be used.
Additional polyurethane foam will be added to the low areas to help minimize ponding. Some
ponding will remain.
4. Apply the first application of coating at a rate of 1.25 gallons per 100 square feet.
5. Apply the second application of coating at a rate of 1.25 gallons per 100 square feet.
6. Apply top layer of coating at a rate of 1.50 gallons per 100 square feet yielding a TDM thickness of.
30-32 Top coat color to be Tan.
7. Embed granules in the wet top coat material at a rate of 50 pounds per 100 square feet.
SCOPE OF WORK (Tile Roof Areas)
1. Remove existing tile and set aside.
2. Broom clean the roof surface. Existing underlayment to remain in place.
3. Install two layers of Malarkey UDL modified underlayment mechanically fastened. Underlayment to
be installed in shingle fashion. Overlap underlayment 18" over each proceeding roll.
2. Install new tile pan, roof to wall metal and valley metal.
3. Replace damaged metal bird stop as necessary.
5. Re -install existing tile. Replace any missing or broken tiles on visible tile areas with tile from the
interior facing areas that are not visible from the ground.
6. Install mortar at all hip and ridges.
7. Install trim tile.
Tile breakage: There will be a number of tiles that are broken during the roofing removal process. Tile
from the interior decks (out of sight) will bel�o "plete the visible roofing areas. New tile
similar in color (as close a match as locally availb'h'IdL)°.M11'be installed on the interior facing tile areas.
